2011 Washington Youth Soccer
Recreational Cup
The Recreational Cup is the Washington Youth Soccer Championship
Tournament exclusively for recreational teams. Each District will
hold preliminary rounds to determine who will represent District 1
at State Semi-Finals.

District 1 Scholarship
WSYSA District I has established an Academic Scholarship
as part of our acknowledgment of our responsibility that academics
are important to our players.
This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are
currently registered on a District I soccer team and lives within
the District I boundaries.
Requirements;

Applicant must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.2. Courses listed
as ‘Incomplete’ will be treated the same as a grade of 0.0.

Applicant must be accepted by a community college, 4 year
college/university or technology school.

Applicant will need to provide proof of graduation, but during the
application process a letter from a counselor will satisfy this
requirement.
We will
award $1000, one each to a boy and girl. The check will be
written to the school of the recipient. Application and
supporting documentation must be returned by MAY 15 to the above
address.
